Nicki is based in Frisco, a suburb of Dallas, TX. When not working on her floral designs Nicki is also an Independent Stylist for Stella and Dot. In her free time she enjoys landscaping her garden, painting, remodeling, hosting parties, handmaking her children's costumes, spending time with her incredibly creative Mother Lyn and most of all being with her loving family, husband Dave, son Peyton and 4 year old twins David III and Kate.

Nicki designs beautiful preserved floral arrangements using the finest preserved flowers and botanicals which have been imported from around the world including countries such as Europe, South America, Africa and also locally grown in the United States.

As an alternative to traditional silk and manufactured floral, preserved arrangements have a more natural organic look and are environmentally friendly.

Preserved flowers are real flowers that have been harvested and put through a process in which most of the moisture in the plant is removed and replaced with glycerine. Glycerine is natural, biodegradable and environmentally friendly. It leaves the flowers supple and natural looking and prevents further drying. In some cases natural dyes have been used to enhance the colors or copy current color trends.

Other botanicals such as grass, branches, grains, vines and pods have been dried using hot air. Some of these products are also dyed to mimic nature.

Caring for your preserved arrangement takes minimal effort. Make sure to place them away from high humidity areas and direct sunlight. Using a hair dryer on a low and cool setting can be used occasionally to blow off any dust. With proper care your arrangement will last for years to come.

Many of the preserved products used include: Hydrangea, Garden Roses, Roses, Salal leaves, Myrtle, Iris Foliage, Wild Grass, Wood Grass, Hanging Amaranthus, Boxwood, Seeded Eucalyptus, Australian Mini Willow, Setaria, French Lavender, Pencilata, Cockscomb, Grabia, Chinese Millet, Plume Reed, Pimentia, Protea, Banksia, Lotus Pods, Mahogany Pods, Monkey Cup Pods, Curly Willow, Birch Branch, Grapewood, Manzanita, Natraj, Gourds, Pomegranates, Sheet Moss, Mood Moss, Spanish Moss and more.
